Bike Torque Racing is a motorcycle parts distributor based in Frome, Somerset. UK. We are UK importers and distributors for many of the world’s finest motorcycle parts including AFAM chains and sprockets, Brembo brakes, OZ wheels and many others. But it wasn’t always that way…..
The Bike Torque Story
Bike Torque started trading in late 1994, when the then-managing director, Neil Appleton, was busy winning races on a Suzuki GSX-R motorcycle around the racetracks of Britain. With very little to work with, he bravely raised the capital by selling his race bike to take the first steps into the parts business. It was a nerve-wracking time, but the funds grew from the parts of the first bike to purchase a second bike, and then another and another! And so, Bike Torque Racing was born and began life as a Suzuki parts specialist.
In 2000, we agreed to be the sole UK distributors for all AFAM and NRC products, and the dealer supply part of our business grew from there. Now, we are UK importers and distributors for brands such as AFAM, Brembo, DID, Domino, JT, Matris, Newfren, O.Z., Pipercross, and many more.
We stock thousands of parts for all makes and models of motorcycles, regardless of their intended use. We have sprockets for mopeds, brake pads for Harleys, handlebars for racers, and chains for commuters. We have always ridden and always will ride motorcycles whenever possible – on roads, racetracks, off-road, touring, custom bikes, you name it.

In 2022 it was with great sadness that we lost our founder Neil Appleton to a brief illness. The legacy that Neil left behind was for us to continue giving the biking world the knowledge, expertise, support, and service that only a close-knit family like the BTR team can.
